Even though we offer ways for a website owner to update their own site, such as through our Page Content Management System (among others) there are situations where our clients find themselves in a position where doing updates to their own sites is neither time nor cost effective for them. In the spirit of working with our clients, HirMon & Associates offers (but does not require) website maintenance packages to suit your needs. Ongoing Maintenance Service – “OM Service“ offers you peace of mind about your website!
For a low monthly fee (ranging from $150 to $500, depending on the size and complexity of your website) we will: - Perform all information updates (including those related to the Shopping cart, Products and similar pages).
- Perform all server related maintenance, such as email redirection, database maintenance (including periodic backups), and ensure your site is not co-opted by hackers to send out spam/phishing emails.
- Review the website functionality monthly to ensure that all programming and special features continue to work as specified.
- Make minor adjustments to the wording and design of special programs and web pages.
- Provide a 20% discount toward future website updates, including special programming.
Renegotiate the basic service fee after 3 months. - Excluded from this service are:
- New programming additions
- Major website redesigns (e.g. changes affecting more than 50% of the design)
- Domain name maintenance, since you control the domain names.
Spot Maintenance – Based on the theory: If you need something done - Contact Us. If you don?t -- don?t! - Conducted “as needed” at our standard rate of $75/hour with a one hour minimum per session; additional time is billed in 15-minute increments.
- This includes minor additions to each service request, minor changes to the functionality of existing programming, and minor design changes. Spot Maintenance may also include new programming.
- Spot Maintenance benefits our clients whose websites required infrequently changes (only every 3-5 months).
- Extensive changes or new programming may be better handled as a New Work Project. In this case, we will provide a quote to protect your budget and keep things more cost-effective.
These items are optional. In general, our clients opt for Ongoing Maintenance “OM” Service and use Spot Maintenance to cover programming and/or design changes. Please contact us if you have questions, or to enroll in OM Service – for your peace of mind.
