One of our clients with which HirMon & Associates has had a very good working relationship over the years surprised us the other day by requesting a quotation to develop software for emergency fuel planners (mostly governmental agencies) and a new project for the state of Delaware!
Sometime back, HirMon & Associates put together an online fuel management system to track such things as requests for emergency fuel supplies (e.g. for backup power generators during a power outage [like due to a hurricane or tornado]) and fullfilling those requests in one easily administered area.
The request from the state of Delaware enhances this system enormously. By tracking where power outages are occurring, the state can more efficiently anticipate needs for emergency fuel supplies before a critical facility needs to call.
This should keep me off the street for a couple of days!
